Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated 23 August 2026

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for BusinessSensor subscriptions and services. It sits alongside our Terms of Service.

Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you keep access to the service until then. We do not automatically pro-rate a partly used period.

When we refund

We will refund you where:

  • You were charged in error, or charged twice for the same period
  • You were charged after cancelling, for a period you did not use
  • We are unable to deliver a service you have paid for
  • A refund is required by law or by the rules of the payment provider

What is not normally refundable

Fees for a subscription period that has been used are not normally refundable, and neither are one-off implementation, data migration, training or customisation services that have already been delivered. Where a service has been partly delivered we will discuss a fair outcome with you.

How to request a refund

Send a request to info@businesssensor.com with your account details, the payment concerned and the reason for the request. We aim to acknowledge within two business days and to reach a decision within ten business days.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are returned by the method used for the original payment. The time it takes to reach you depends on your bank or card issuer, and is typically between five and fifteen business days once we have processed it.

Billing disputes

If you believe an invoice is wrong, contact us before raising a dispute with your bank or card issuer. A chargeback raised without contacting us can result in the account being suspended while the dispute is resolved, and we would rather simply fix the error.
